Here’s a photo from Mongolia. It was taken at Kharkaroum, the site of the original capital of Mongolia. For a long time Buddhist monks weren’t able to practise their religion due to Communism. Now things are beginning to return to normal and monasteries are being rebuilt.

I really did set my standards high with that last post. Now of course I need to follow Aliese’s advice and bite more strangers.

Which would be very weird and kinda gothic, a stage which (I like to think) I grew out of when I stopped visiting the Proscenium. So instead I’ll have to write posts about what I know best, my immediate life, tea drinking and backpack packing.

However, that will have to wait. I just didn’t want y’all to think that I’d forgotten you.
